Our vision

This site aims to inspire, train, connect and support a new generation of progressive activists and social entrepreneurs by acting as a forum for them to share and develop their ideas for bringing change to their communities and helping them make their ideas a reality.

Future developments

As the Local Action Network develops, it can also connect the local innovators with the leading social and business entrepreneurs around the country to give them practical advice and support on how to grow their ideas, as well as with local national politicians who can champion their cause and help them overcome any barriers they may face. In addition to blogs and discussion forums, the Local Action Network will provide a library of easy-to-use case studies, as well as updates, news stories, and polls on the issues being faced by social entrepreneurs across Britain.
