Social Enterprise: It's A State Of Mind

Social enterprise as a concept is nothing new in practice, but is it pretty new in theory. Does that make sense? Let me explain it this way: When I was a teenager I struggled to find an employer that I felt comfortable with. I developed a trend , to my parents horror, of rejecting job offers or quitting jobs on the first day on the grounds that the company just 'wasn't me'. My parents, in desperation, told me to find a company that 'was me'. I did, and ended up at The Body Shop's head office in Littlehampton, West Sussex.
